This is a rare opportunity for someone to enhance their lifestyle working for a large independent school in WA€™s beautiful South West. As a pivotal part of this well established organisation you will work as part of a close-knit team enjoying a varied position responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting and assisting with financial management for the school.
 
Reporting to the Bursar (via the Assistant Bursar) and ultimately the School Head, you will take responsibility for producing management reports, annual financial statements, cash flow forecasts, monitoring variances against budget and overseeing the asset register. Additionally  you will prepare BAS and FBT returns while providing internal advice relating to tax issues. 
 
This is a critical role and as a result you will require a sound understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical ability and an understanding of accrual accounting practices. You will also offer advanced Excel ability and excellent interpersonal / communication skills. Experience gained within a not for profit or professional practice environment coupled with professional accounting qualifications will also be advantageous.
